The ASAC convention is at the Embassy Suites in Concord, NC on February 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. There are several vendors there and wonderful speakers all day on Saturday. Youth activities starting on Friday evening as well as the live auction. Of course we are all excited about the awards that some of our riders are receiving.
Amanda Tompkins and "Desert Supreme Kid" aka "Will," won a third place year end award in the Juvenile Five Gaited Pleasure division, Lindsey Gettig and "Here's Beanski" aka "Beanski," has won a third place year end award in the Juvenile Park division, and Georgia Rae Gurney and "Irene's Goodnight Kiss" aka "Shea," have won a third place year end award in the Juvenile Three Gaited Show Pleasure division. Congratulations to all of you, we are very proud of you and and your wonderful horses! An additional thanks to all the supportive family members and friends.
The first Pine View Stables Easter Egg Hunt will be held on March 15th at 4:00. This is fun for all ages. Come and hunt for your chance at a free riding lesson and many other great prizes. We will be giving out candy, discounts on Pine View Stables events and riding lessons. Call ahead to let us know you are coming!
It is that time of year again!!! Horse shows are getting ready to start up and I just received the program to the Raleigh Spring Premier Horse Show in Raleigh, NC. It is March 27th - 29th, we will be attending the horse show. This horse show offers an academy division, and we are planning on participating. All of you have been practicing hard all winter and are ready to show off your stuff! There are deadlines to sign up, so please ask Suzy for more information.
Pine View Stables Barn Brats will now be meeting the first Monday of every month at 6:30 PM as of March 2008.
